Scanhaus Privacy Policy

Scanhaus is a room scanner for iPhone Pro, and it is built so that your home never leaves your phone.

Your scans stay on your iPhone

Scanning uses the camera and the LiDAR sensor of your iPhone. Everything after that happens on the device: the floor plan, the room areas, the 3D model, the photo texture on the walls, the LiDAR photo mesh and every export file. Scans, photos and exports are stored inside the app on your iPhone. They are never uploaded to us, we never see them, and no part of a scan is sent anywhere for processing.

No account, no profile

Scanhaus has no sign up and no login. We never ask for your name, your email address, your phone number or your home address, so there is no account and no profile of you on our side.

What does leave the device

Purchase verification. When you buy Scanhaus Pro or a single export, the app asks the Roadtrip App Hub server whether that purchase is valid. The request contains the app identifier and an anonymous purchase identifier created on your device. It contains no name, no email address, no location and nothing from your scans.
Anonymous app statistics. When the app starts it reports which app version and build number is running, so we know which releases are in use. This carries no personal data and is not linked to you.
App Store purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. Apple gives us only anonymous, aggregated sales reporting.

Camera, photos and files

Scanhaus asks for camera access only to scan rooms. The photos taken during a scan are used to texture your model and stay in the app. When you export, iOS asks you where to save or share the file, and the file goes only where you send it.

No advertising, no data selling

Scanhaus shows no advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade any data. We have nothing about you to sell.

Deleting your data

Delete a scan in the app to remove it and its exports from your iPhone. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Because your scans were never uploaded, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

Children

Scanhaus is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
